Author's Note: This story takes place in the Future-Verse, a bit of a time jump into the future from "A Mother's Life.  This is my first attempt at anything even vaguely non-linear, but the dates are listed at the beginning of each chapter, so you'll know when you are.

Summary: Six days ago - Merlin vanished from the Magic School on New Avalon.

Four days ago - Phillip received notification of a Director-Level Event. He didn't come home.

Now - Jack and Arthur are on the hunt for answers.  Ianto is faced with an ancient Power and a familiar face.  Something walks in the darkness of an abandoned Library.

Every single one of these things is connected.
